Mobile App — Privacy Policy

2. What data do we process?
- User settings: favorite nameday list, theme, notification preferences (stored on device only via SharedPreferences).
- Widget data: nameday list exported to widget via HomeWidget plugin (stored on device only).
- Nameday database: loaded from
assets/nevnapok.json; contains no personal data. - Subscription metadata: Apple/Google handle transactions; we only store a local boolean indicating active subscription.
- Notification token: if you enable daily push notifications, the device's APNs/FCM token is stored encrypted in AWS SNS. The token is not linked to any name or email — used solely for delivering notifications.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Push notifications for selected namedays (based on consent).
- Personalizing widget and in-app content (legitimate interest / user request).
- Verifying subscription status for premium features (contract performance).
4. Data retention
- All user settings remain on the device and are automatically removed upon app deletion.
- Notification tokens are kept in AWS until the last notification; afterward they expire automatically or are deleted upon consent withdrawal.
5. Third parties and data transfer
- Apple (App Store): handles payments and billing — Apple Privacy Policy.
- Google (Play Store): handles payments on Android — Google Privacy Policy.
- Amazon Web Services SNS — aws.amazon.com/privacy — for token storage and notification delivery only.
- No analytics SDKs, advertising IDs or location data are used.
6. Your rights
- Access, modify or delete data stored on your device directly via app settings (clear favorites, disable notifications etc.).
- Request push token deletion via email; we will permanently remove it from AWS.
- You have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Data security
- All communication between the app and AWS is over HTTPS/TLS.
- We collect only the minimum necessary data and never share it for marketing or sell it.
